I believe students can reach any goal they want with the proper determination and support. My job as a tutor is to help students get there. I can help students better understand subjects by explaining them using different perspectives, building on top of the knowledge students are to have. I work collaboratively with my students to help them develop learning skills and become confident in their abilities. I've had the opportunity to work with everyone from preschool students to high school level students. It's interesting to see all the different personalities, interests, and goals that students have. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy gardening, ceramics, and playing with my dog.
