My strong educational background contributes to my love of being a tutor. I have an advanced paralegal certification, a bachelor's degree in sociology and psychology and a master's degree in educational technology. I enjoy tutoring in English, writing, and reading. I have taught grade through high school students, as well as taught at Phoenix University online and Duke University. Other experiences I have that help me be a successful tutor include my volunteer position with Toastmasters. I have also served as a judge for mock trials. All of these experiences have enriched my life and now I am hoping to share it with my pupils. I enjoy learning about other people and getting to know each of my students on a personal level. I like to make learning fun and enjoyable for everyone, I believe it helps people learn. Additionally, I try to add some games to the mix, to keep pupils interested in the material they are learning. As soon as I learn your individual interests, I can also recommend some reading that you will like. I look forward to helping you enjoy English and reading as much as I do.
